Description
NA This notice is released to announce a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers District, New Orleans, requirement for Mowing and Maintenance service contract. The work will be performed under this contract will be on the Indian Bayou, Bayou Des Ourses, and Shatters B ayou Areas of the Atchafalaya Basin Floodway System Project. It will also include planting, broadcast seeding, broadcast over seeding, fertilizing, cultivating, success ional mowing, success ional disking, liming, litter pick-up, mowing, grass trimming, e dging, tree, stump, and limb removal. The Invitation for Bid result in an indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract to be competed under solicitation DACW29-03-B-0068. The basic contract is estimated to commence on 1 June 2003 through 31 May 2004 w ith four one-year option performance periods. This action is set aside 100% for Small Business concerns under NAICS code 561730 , size standard $5M. You must be considered a SB concern to bid this project. The IFB and all information pertaining to this acq uisition will be made available electronically through the Federal Business Opportunities electronic posting system web link at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. It is and will continue to be all potential offerors responsibility to monitor the fedbiz website fo r any amendments, updates, bidders, library, responses to questions and answers as the government will not be maintaining a mailing list. It is incumbent upon all potential offerors to download from the fedbiz website or request an electronic copy of the data by e-mailing Melissa.Vaughn@mvn02.usace,army.mil or faxing request to 504-862-2892. Any communications must identify the IFB number, DACW29-03-B-0068, company name, address, phone number including area code, facsimile number and point of contact. No phone call request will be accepted. The anticipated solicitation release date is on or about 10 April 2003 with a bid opening date 2 May 2003. NOTE: Bidders must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required by Federal Regulati ons (See FAR 52.204-7004), therefore you must be CCR registered to be awarded this project and payment from any DOD activity. Information on registration may be obtained by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Registration r equires applicants to have a DUNS number from Dun & Bradstreet. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. Numbered note 1 applies.
