Description
THIS SYNOPSIS IS ISSUED FOR INFORMATIONAL AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The AMC Contracting Flight anticipates issuance of a solicitation for a computer based training program to provide general radar systems knowledge and specific data on the following radar systems: Rockwell Collins WRT 701X Weather Radar (Not dual), BENDIX RDS 86 Color Weather Radar, PRIMUS 870 (Honeywell), PRIMUS 300 (Honeywell) Univ Avionics MFD, APS 133 (Honeywell), RDR4V (Honeywell), C-32 Rockwell Collins WRT-701X Dual Weather Radar and C-37 PRIMUS 880 (Honeywell) Digital Weather Radar. The contractor shall perform research, ISD analysis and production services relating to creation and production of a course to be delivered on a Compact Disk(s) (CDs). The course shall devote a minimum of 30 minutes to general radar systems and weather phenomena and up to 30 minutes covering each specific radar system. The Government shall have the right to distribute the Compact Disk(s) to the appropriate Air Force Bases. The Government is soliciting information to determine the availability of capable contractors that can accomplish this effort. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 611512. Request contractors interested and capable of performing the training listed in this Request for Information (RFI) submit the following information: Name and address of company, business size, company point of contact, telephone number, fax number, E-mail address, and statement of capability. Please limit the capability package to 20 pages. The statement of capability must include, as a minimum, the following items: 1) Contract references relating to performance of aforementioned training to include: Contract Number; agency supported, period of performance, original contract value, final or current contract value, training monitor and phone/fax number, PCO with current phone/fax number, and a brief description of the effort; 2) Company profile: Number of employees, annual sales history, performance locations, and DUNS number, etc.; 3) a brief description of current capability to provide the training described above. Also, if your firm is HUBZone certified, please indicate. The capability package must be clear, concise, and complete and submitted to the contracting office electronically via E-mail no later than 14 Apr 03.
