- This is a requirement for the repair of F15 detent and input shafts. The contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment and all material to accomplish the repair, test, packing, preservation and packaging of the below listed detent and input shafts. A firm fixed price Requirements type contract is contemplated. The items and quantities are as follows: Item 0001: NSN 3040-01-256-1980HS; P/N: 3867034-1; Noun; Input Shaft; Applicable to F-15 aircraft; Basic Year Qty: 3 each; Option I: 3 each; Option II: 3 each; Option III: 3 each; Option IV: 3 each; Item 0002: NSN: 1650-01-212-9794HS; P/N: 3831437-1; Noun: Input Shaft; Applicable to F15 aircraft; Basic Year Qty: 3 each; Option I: 3 each; Option II: 5 each; Option III: 6 each; Option IV: 6 each; Item 0003: NSN: 3040-01-250-6144HS; P/N: 3867039-1; Noun: Detent Shaft; Applicable to F15 aircraft; Basic Year Qty: 3 each; Option I: 5 each; Option II: 6 each; Option III: 7 each; Option IV: 6 each; Item 0004: NSN: 1650-00-303-5825HS; P/N: 3831283-1; Noun: Detent Shaft; Applicable to F15 aircraft; Basic Year Qty: 3 each; Option I: 3 each; Option II: 11 each; Option III: 23 each; Option IV: 22 each; Item 0005: Over and Above Work; Item 0006: Data IAW DD1423s. Deliveries are to be 3 each per month 30 days after receipt of the order and reparables. Ship to is to Tinker AFB, OK. Qualification requirements apply. Award will be based on meeting our requirements and cannot be delayed pending qualifications of additional sources. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 15 Apr 2003. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
