Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. (ii) Solicitation F44600-03-T-0013 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found in FAR Part 13. Written documentation will not be issued for this quote. (iii) The solicitation is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) FAR Part 13. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-13. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. (iv)This acquisition will be 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 71394 with a small business size standard of $6,000,000.00. (v) The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, plant, material, and other items and services necessary to provide 46 Each Rotating Fitness Center Passes for the use of fitness center facilities that have: indoor track, indoor pool, indoor basket ball court, indoor tennis court, weight equipment that includes modern weight machines and free weights, aerobic classes, clean showers, provide towels, soap, lockers, and personal trainers. Must have at least two facilities within a 10-mile radius of 11817 Cannon Blvd, Newport News, VA 23606. Access is required to the fitness center for 46 active duty military personnel from Monday through Sunday starting in the early morning until late in the evenings . (vi) n/a (vii) The date of delivery shall be 07 May 2003 through 06 May 2004 at facilities location; FOB Destination. Responsibility and Inspection: Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and Quality Control. (viii) The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) The Government will award a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: cost/price and location with both factors having the same weighing.
