Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as request for proposal No. DCA300-03-R-0001. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-13. This acquisition is 100% small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541512, $21 million. The manufacturer of the software is Wandl, Inc. Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001 Product No. MS0125, Standard ATM Model for Marconi/Fore ASX 200-4000 (40 node), 1 each. CLIN 0002 Product No. ME0125, Hierarchical PNNI (40 node) 1 each. CLIN 0003 Product No. CUSTRAT, Custom Rate Feature 1 each. CLIN 0004 Product No. MAR2WND, Data Extraction Utility, 1 each. CLIN 0005 Software Maintenance for Product No. MS0125 (subject to availability of FY04 funds) 1 year. CLIN 0006 Software Maintenance for Product No. ME0125 (subject to availability of FY04 funds) 1 year. CLIN 0007 Software Maintenance for CUSTRAT (subject to availability of FY04 funds) 1 year. CLIN 0008 Software Maintenance for Product No. MAR2WND (subject to availability of FY04 funds) 1 year. CLINs 0005 through 0008 Software Maintenance coverage is to take effect one year after receipt and acceptance of CLINs 0001 through 0004. Software Maintenance consist of software enhancements, adds, and support. The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the low, responsible, responsive offeror.
