Description

The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound (FISCPS) is soliciting for the following: 0001). Rudder Grease Seal, per Wartsila Lips Inc., per P/N US73404-01, 1 each. 0002). Rudder Shaft Seal, per Wartsila Lips Inc., (formerly John Crane) per P/N US73404-02, 1 each. 0003). Certificate of Conformance for Rudder Grease Seal and Rudder Shaft Seal P/N US73404-01 and US73404-02, 1 each. To be negotiated on a sole source basis with Wartsila Lips Inc., (formerly John Crane). The Rudder Grease Seal and Rudder Shaft Seal are proprietary per P/N US73404-01 & US73404-02. The Government does not have access to competitive specifications for this procurement. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The required delivery date is 11 July 2003. F.O.B. Destination. Delivery shall be to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, WA 98314. This commercial acquisition will be negotiated in accordance with FAR Part 12. It is anticipated that the RFQ will be issued on or about 28 March 2003, with offers due on or about 11 April 2003.
