DESC: The Materiel Systems Group, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base OH intends to issue a contract for the purchase of hardware items. The NAIC code for this acquisition is 334111. Roland MA12CP Speakers 1 dpsVelocityQ NLE Software This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All interested sources must respond in writing with clear and convincing evidence to support their ability to provide the capability NLT 5 PM on 2 Apr 03. A delivery date of 30 days after receipt of order is required. A determination by the Government not to complete this action based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Contracting Officer may be contacted by email at patricia.miller@wpafb.af.mil. The Contracting Specialist may be contacted by email at bonnie.moore@wpafb.af.mil. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. Address issues, concerns, and questions regarding this acquisition to the Contracting Officer. You may refer them to the Ombudsman if, after discussing them with the Contracting Officer, you feel that you are not effectively communicating with the government. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or Contracting Officer, but communicates contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. The ombudsman is Lt Col Reginald Adams and can be reached at (937) 257-4053.
