Description
311 HSW/YASK intends to issue solicitation F41624-03-R-1108 for OVERHAUL/REPAIR OF PULL HANDLE CATAPULT. Technical Order 13A5-37-3, National Stock Number (NSN) 1680-00-702-9382MH, Part Number MBEU1610H5. FSCM: 04253 Relative NAICS code 333518. The purpose of the solicitation will be to award a firm-fixed price three year requirements repair type contract, to include a (1) Basic year period Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) 41 each (2) One year priced option period BEQ 21 each (3) Two year priced option period BEQ 18 each. FMS included. Best Estimated Quantity is 80 each. Contractor shall furnish all plants, facilities, labor, equipment, special tools, test equipment, and materials necessary to Overhaul/Repair Pull Handle Catapult to refurbished condition in accordance with Technical Order 13A5-37-3. Deviation to the technical order is not authorized. Requirement is a Sole Source. Recommended Source: Martin-Baker America, 23 Creek Circle, Boothwyn, PA 19061. Responses should be submitted no later than 30 days after synopsis appears. Please note that telephone requests will not be honored. Only e-mail, written or faxed request received directly from the requestor are acceptable. All responsible sources may submit an offeror. All potential offerors should contact the contract specialist/PCO identified in this notice for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, regarding this acquisition. If the contracting officer does not satisfy your concerns an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
