Description
The US Coast Guard Maintenance and Logistics Command Atlantic (MLCLANT), Norfolk, VA is procuring full food service, including formal table and event services at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, located in New London, CT. The contractor shall provide all food, expendable supplies, personnel, supervision, materials, and other items necessary to provide full food service at two adjacent dining facilities (Cadet and All Hands), a medical clinic, other locations on the Academy grounds, and at Stonington Lodge, Stonington, CT. One food preparation area is provided to support all food service requirements. The ?Cadet? dining facility is an atmosphere that emulates the formality of the military officer?s wardroom. This includes the provision of linens and tableware, full table service, and bussing. Other meals may be provided by short order or buffet service. The ?All Hands? dining facility is a short order and buffet style cafeteria. The NAICS code is 722310 (Full Food Services). The Small Business Size Standard is 17.5 million. The Request for Proposal (RFP) shall include a base year, 1 October 1, 2003 through September 30, 2004, plus four option years, with incentive provisions to earn up to five additional one-year award term extensions. This requirement is a Total HUBZone Small Business Set-Aside. The RFP will be available electronically, on or about 18 April 2003, by accessing http://www.uscg.mil/mlclant/fdiv/fdiv.html. All firms will be responsible for obtaining the RFP from this site. An oral presentation will be required of those firms determined to be in the competitive range, after proposal submission.
