NA PROJECT TITLE: (THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT?S INTENT TO AWARD TO ONE SOURCE & NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. NO SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE) Emergency Power System, DoD Center ? Monterey Bay Renovation Presidio of Monterey Annex, CA LOCATION: DoD center ? Monterey Bay Renovation Presidio of Monterey Annex, CA JOB DESCRIPTION: SOURCES SOUGHT/NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLICIT WITH ONE SOURCE. ________________________________________________________________________________ A-E to support the modifications and upgrades to the existing emergency power generation features of the DoD Center, Presidio of Monterey Annex, CA (the Center), providing reports of the existing control wiring of the ATS with recommendations to integrate the new ATS, and provide a final report of the recommendations implemented, sketches and field changes made during construction. The sole source A-E is Don Del Porto, 1340 Munger Way, Sacramento, CA 95831. Mr. Del Porto, who, as the original designer of the existing system, has a thorough, firsthand knowledge of the operation and control of diesel-electric generator sets, automatic transfer switches and related electrical power distribution systems at the Center, and is therefore is uniquely qualified fo r this project. All interested parties may respond or submit statements of qualifications. This is not a request for competitive proposals or quotations. The Government will consider responses received within 10 days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A de termination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is within the discretion of the Government. All responses are due in not later than (date/time) 01April2003/3:00 p.m. PDT. This Procurement will be conducted under FSC CODE: C211, SIC CODE: 8712, NAICS Code: 54131. The size standard for this code is $4.0.
