Description
NA This project is for construction and maintenance of a new U.S. Army Reserve Training Center Complex, Rochester, New Hampshire. The project will consist of the following: (1) 3690 square meter two story Training Building (USARC) with masonry veneer and barr el vault style standing seam metal roof. Functional spaces include administrative areas, assembly hall, physical fitness area, locker facilities with showers, kitchen, arms vault, unit storage area and facility support areas. Training building OMAR equip ment shall include storage caging & metal shelving, kitchen equipment & miscellaneous defined equipment. (2) 645 square meter OMS facility has four service bays, administrative areas, hazardous and flammable storage areas and maintenance support areas. O MS building has OMAR unit storage caging. (3) 186 square meter unheated storage building with metal pallet rack storage system. (4) Support facilities shall include 4900 square meter light duty POV parking area, 15,700 square meter heavy duty MEP parking area, 1300 square meter concrete pavement area and bi-level concrete loading ramp. Buildings include all work within the 1.5-meter line. The site shall be completely developed for the required utilities, water, sanitary sewer, gas, communications, underg round electrical, storm drainage, paving, walks, curbs and gutters, parking, access drives, fencing, exterior lighting, site improvements, grading, and general landscaping. There are no existing structures to be removed. The existing trees shall be removed only as necessary. The building will be complete with architectural, electrical, communications, fire protection and detection, plumbing, HVAC, Energy Management, lighting, CATV, security, and closed circuit television (CCTV) systems. The design is comple te and is hard metric. The project also includes, as a part of the base bid, a line item for 5 years of facility maintenance. During the Operations & Maintenance phase of the contract, the Contractor shall maintain the facility systems of the project; per form systematic preventive maintenance (PM); provide for continuous commissioning of critical systems; and perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Proposals received from this solicitation will be evaluated for best value to the Government in accord ance with the following criteria listed in descending order of importance: Construction Experience, Construction Past Performance, O&M Management Plan, Key Construction Subcontractors (Roofing, Mechanical, & Electrical) Experience, Key Construction Subcont ractors Past Performance, Key Personnel Resumes (Project Manager, Project Superintendent, Quality Control Representative), and Subcontracting Information. All evaluation factors other than cost or price, when combined, are equal in importance to cost or pr ice. This project is available on Compact Disk.
