Description

The Colville National Forest has a requirement for exterior maintenance and window replacement on Building 2006, Barracks, located on the Sullivan Lake Ranger District complex, Metaline Falls, Washington, in Pend Oreille County (Northeast Washington State). The project consists of, but is not limited to: exterior painting, window removal and replacement, and wooden stair demolition and reconstruction. The building to be worked on has lead based paint on some of its components. Unless otherwise provided, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, tools and transportation necessary to perform the work in accordance with the specifications and provisions of the contract. This project will be advertised as a written quotation and will be solicited under the Simplified Acquisition Procurement (SAP) rules. The project is procured on an unrestricted basis. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about April 11, 2003. Estimate start work date is on or about June 1, 2003, with a completion date of 45 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Quotes are estimated to be due on May 2, 2003. An Alternate Payment Protection (Payment bond) will be required upon award. The NAICS code for this project is 233321. The estimated price range is $25,000 to $100,000. All responsible sources will be posted at this site on the issue date.
