Description

The subject RFQ is modified to change the due date for quotes to March 25, 2003, at 4:00 p.m., PST. The following changes are made to the Statement of Work: c. The designer should assume that the doors are normally left in the OPEN position. d. Pushbuttons to OPEN AND CLOSE the doors will be installed on both sides of the door and should meet ADA requirements for size and style. f. THE DOORS WILL REMAIN OPEN EACH TIME THEY ARE OPENED UNLESS POWER IS LOST, IN WHICH CASE THE DOOR SHOULD SHUT. THE DOORS SHOULD BE ABLE TO BE CLOSED BY PUSHBUTTON OR IN THE CASE OF HIGH WATER, THE DOOR SHOULD CLOSE BY MEANS OF A FLOAT ACTIVATED SWITCH. THE FLOAT SWITCH SHOULD BE LOCATED IN THE AREA OF THE DOOR NEAR THE FLOOR. (LS-1750 series, stainless steel, level switch, or equivalent) www.gemssensors.com
