Description

NA THIS IS MARKET RESEARCH ONLY. NO ACTUAL SOLICITATION HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED WITH THIS INFORMATION. The Army Contracting Agency, Directorate of Contracting, is performing market research to identify potential sources that can address some of the essential capabilities that will be required to accomplish a particular requirement. Some of the essential cap abilities are as follows: 1. Ability to accomplish design and layout of office furniture using CADD version 2000 and in accordance with the U.S. Army COE Design Guide for Interiors; 2. Ability to furnish and install approximately 500 workstations, 30 ex ecutive and 35 command center stations at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. The work covers several floors and will involve extensive coordination efforts with the on-site construction contractor and the contractor/personnel wiring the stations. Contractor person nel will be required to meet various levels of security clearance depending on the areas they are assigned to work; 3. A significant portion of the furniture must have the capability accommodate the C4I cabling infrastructure to route (4) security levels (Black-unclassified; Red-Top Secret; Yellow-Sensitive Compartment Information Area and NSANET) and IAW NSTISSAM Tempest/2-95; 4. Ability to furnish and install various non-standard size modular office furniture in an historical building with various obstacles, e.g., building columns; and 5.
