Description

This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition. Patrick AFB wishes to purchase one Differential Fiber Vibrometer, Manufacturer: Polytec, model OFV-512 or equal, one X-Y Traverse Stage for positioning 10mm fiber-optic probes, one Tip/Tilt stage for 10mm probes, and one extended warranty. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. This proposed procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. Solicitation No. F08650-03-T-0088 is issued as a Request for Quotation. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 3829, business size of 500 employees, and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 334519. IMPORTANT: The Department of Defense (DOD) has determined the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be the Single DOD registration for contractors who conduct business or who are interested in conducting business with the Department. You may register in CCR on-line at http://ccr.edi.disa.mil. It is mandatory to obtain a DUNS number prior to registering in CCR by calling Dun & Bradstreet (1-800-333-0505). All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 19 Mar 03 at http://www2.eps.gov/spg/.
