Description

This is a sole source procurement synopsis/solicitation for commercial PWCS is published for informational purposes only. The Purchase Request Number is F77SCX030720300, NAICS Code 517212 (1500 employees). No other solicitation documents are available. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.5 and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). The proposed source is Southern Communications Services, Inc., Atlanta, GA. Southern Communications is directly compatible with the local emergency and environment agencies located outside Eglin AFB with whom base personnel must maintain 24/7 communications. The period of performance will be the base year, plus four option years as a firm-fixed price contract. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, the government will consider all quotations/responses received by 26 March 03. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Only quotation received by this date will be considered.
