Description
Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation, and supervision required to repair and waterproof the exterior foundation at Coast Guard Station Grand Haven, Mich. Major items of work include: Trim trees and remove landscaping features as required to access the inset wall along the front the building; Remove and stock pile topsoil for reuse upon completion of foundation waterproofing work; Excavate along the front of the building as required to expose the foundation wall; Remove and stockpile fill material for reuse; Remove pea gravel along the base of the wall to expose the wall surface to the depth of the foundation; Use wire brushes and compressed air to remove dirt from the exposed foundation as necessary to assure full adhesion of the waterproofing primer coat; Patch and fill depressions and cracks in the wall surface with an asphalt sealer prior to application of the primer coat; Apply primer coat to the exposed wall; Place and install in the self-adhering waterproofing atop the primer coat; Place and affix the drainage composite fabric to the waterproofing membrane; Extend bottom of the drainage composite fabric to the existing drainpipe; Place stockpiled topsoil atop the excavation area and grade to attain a smooth and level surface. Seed the area with a mixture indigenous to the region. Estimated period of performance is 60 days after Notice to Proceed. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238110. Estimated range of the project is less than $25,000; therefore pursuant to FAR 52.219-20, Notice of Emerging Small Business Set-Aside, offers or quotations under this acquisition are solicited from Emerging Small Business concerns only. A due date for quotes has not yet been established. All relevant solicitation documents, including specifications and drawings will be available for download exclusively from the Internet in approximately fifteen days by accessing the government-wide Electronic Posting System (EPS) Web site at http://www.eps.gov. Interested parties should utilize the Register to Receive Notification function in EPS by registering under the solicitation number DTCG83-03-Q-3WF251.
