Description
Construction of a K-12 Dormitory facility, Project No. 98M06, Serial No. BIA000304. Contractor to furnish all plant, labor, materials, services, and equipment and perform all work for new construction of a 35,454 square feet (s.f.) dormitory building, single story, consisting of sleeping rooms, lounge/family rooms, kitchen and dining. Construction includes concrete reinforced foundations, slab on grade, steel framed construction; exterior finish consist of EIFS, and manufactured stone veneer, standing seam metal roof; interior walls consists of painted gypsum board on metal studs, lay-in and gypsum ceilings, flooring doors, windows, frames, hardware, and all related mechanical and electrical requirements. Sitework: Includes, grading, constructing diversion channels, swales, asphalt parking and driveways, curb and gutters, sidewalks, landscaping, water, sanitary and sewers, electrical, mechanical, and all other related utilities. All work shall be in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications and with all applicable Federal, State, and Local fire and safety, building and sanitary codes and regulations. Section (7) (b) of Pub. L. 93-638 requires the preference opportunities in employment, training, and the award of subcontractors and suppliers be given to Indian/Alaska Native economic enterprises. Your contract pricing bid should incorporate your Indian Preference Program outlining Department of Interior Clauses Nos. 41 C.F.R. 1452.226-70 and 71 Employment Opportunities and Subcontracting opportunities. Proof documentation of establishing and conducting a subcontracting program which gives preference to Indian organizations and Indian-owned economic enterprises as subcontractors and suppliers under this contract must be submitted. This acquisition is Open Market. Cost range is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000, NAICS 233320. SIC Code 1522 and Size Standard in Number of Employees or Millions of Dollars: $17.0 Million. Duration of the contract will be for one year. Bid documents will be available after March 21, 2003. Bid Opening is April 24, 2003 at 1:00 PM.
