Description

Work under this solicitation includes design, installation and removal of scaffolding; installation and removal of system to contain blasting media and paint debris; disposal of hazardous materials, removing and replacing radial gate seals; cleaning existing drainage holes; drilling new drainage holes in steel gate members; inspection and repair of corroded areas; and sandblasting, cleaning and painting all exposed ferrous metal surfaces of three (3) 30-foot by 36.35 -foot counterweighted steel radial gates and appurtenant metalwork including steel seal assembly components, gate arms, trunion pin girders, and metal sheaves, as well as stoplog seats and guides.
