Description

NA The Northern Region Contracting Center will be issuing Solicitation DABT57-03-R-0034 on or about 31 March 2003 to provide services for Programmed Drydocking, Cleaning, Painting and Repairs to the U.S. Army Reserve Vessel Landing Craft Utility (LCU) 2026, S tationed at Mare Island, Vallejo, California.? The area of consideration is restricted ?North to Alaska and South/West through Southern California.? Dimensions are as follows: Length overall: 174 Feet; Beam 42 Feet; Displacement: 575 Long Tons; Draft Mean (Light): 8 Feet; Design: 2000 Class; Construction: Steel. A fixed-price contract is contemplated. This procurement is unrestricted. The services will include a 90-calendar day performance period. Contractors shall have a Master Vessel Agreement with Fort Eustis, VA, in order to be awarded this contract. The Solicitation can be obtained through the Army?s Single Face to Industry (AFSI) website http://acquisition.army.mil under contracting opportunities, and also at http://tac.eustis.army.mil, und er solicitations (Ft Eustis). All amendments to the Solicitation will be posted to these websites. Contractors are cautioned to check the websites periodically for amendments. A site visit will be conducted in accordance with information provided in Sec tion L of the Solicitation.
