Description

NA Removal of approximately 1,800,000 cubic yards of maintenance dredged maerial from 12,600 feet of project channel with variable widhs of 400 to 600 feet to required depths of 47 to 49 feet below Mean Low Tide and 2 feet of allowable overdepth for the navig ation channel; and required depth of 30 feet and 2 feet allowable overdepth. Material will be deposited in open water Placement Area. There will be no levee work. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 237990. The Small Business Size Standard is $17 Million and will be advertised UNRESTRICTED. Bid Opening will be held in Room 175 at 2:00 p.m. The Galveston D istrict's Subcontracting goals are: Small Business - 57.2%; Small Disadvantages Business 8.9%; Women-Owned Small Business -8.1%; Hubzone Small Business 3.0%; Service-Disabled Vetern-Owned Small Business -3.0%. The Plans and Specifications will be provide d Web or Internet. The Contractor is responsible to download plans & Specs including Amendments. However,the Government reserves the right to use only the Internet as notification of any changes to this solicitation.
