Description

WRECKER AND TOWING SERVICE FOR DOVER AIR FORCE BASE: We are looking for a contractor to provide wrecker and towing service for Dover AFB DE under a blanket purchase agreement (BPA). The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation, contract manager, and any other items and services necessary for complete wrecker and towing service. The purpose of this contract is to remove abandoned vehicles from roadways at Dover AFB DE to include Eagle Heights and Eagle Meadows Housing areas. The contractor shall provide storage and security for all towed vehicles until they are claimed by their owners or are disposed of properly. The resulting BPAs will be from 1 April 2003 through 31 March 2008. This solicitation is initially a 100% set aside for small business. All prospective offerors must have a commercial and government entity (CAGE) code and be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at: http://www.ccr.gov. The sources sought notification will be the only listing on the Internet, the solicitation will not be posted. A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) PACKAGE WILL BE SENT TO ONLY THOSE WHO RESPOND TO THIS NOTICE WITHIN THE TIME SPECIFIED BELOW.
