- Description
- The Government intends to procure a used fuel control test stand by award of a purchase order on a sole source basis from Hamilton Standard, Long Beach, CA. The used fuel control test stand shall be capable of testing Hamilton Standard T700 Hydro Mechanical Unit (HMU) fuel control. All equipment to test the HMU per the DMWR 55-2915-340 (Navy A1-761CA-MDB-300) manuals shall be included. The test stand shal be in operational order and ready by March 31, 2003 for disassembly by the Government for shipment to Cherry Point, NC. The Government intends to enter into sole source negotiations with Hamilton Standards, Long Beach, CA based on the belief that no one else is in possession of a "used" test stand of the type required. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
