- Description
- The Office of Naval Research (ONR) has a requirement for the services of a deputy director and data research and analysis support regarding the Littoral Warfare Advanced Development (LWAD) organization. The support shall include, but is not limited to, researching scientific and technical data files, records and archives pertaining to past, current, and prospective LWAD activities. The Contractor shall collect, collate, organize, process, and report on specified LWAD research activities involving sea test planning, environmental data collection and analysis, environmental compliance activities, and sea test logistics, operations, and reconstruction analyses. The Contractor shall provide direct research support for compilation and processing of extant technical data, and LWAD research planning, status, and analysis reports. The Contractor shall also assist ONR 321 SS in the completion and distribution of procurement requests and in monitoring commitment/obligation/expenditure status and overall team budget. It is ONR?s intent to negotiate on a sole source basis with Marine Acoustics, Inc. which has performed environmental assessments on prior LWAD research efforts and is the current repository of the extant technical data. Contract period of performance is estimated to be from date of award through 31 DEC 2004. See Note 22. *****
