- Description
- Provide engineering, technical, logistics and repair services to Hull, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic systems on submarines and surface craft stationed within and outside the Continental United States (CONUS / OCONUS), and shall include engineering, quality assurance support, field service support, and integrated logistics support, to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) and various Military establishments worldwide. The contractor shall provide services, materials, and equipment necessary design, test / evaluate and provide total life cycle engineering and logistic support for Submarine and Surface Craft Hull, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic Systems. The contractor shall provide field support by performing inspections, fault isolation, preventive, and corrective maintenance, and provide consultation, repairs and installation support fo r equipment/systems. The contractor is required to respond to the requirements of this task on short notice in any area of the world with qualified technical personnel and materials to ensure maximum operational readiness of military submarine and surface craft. The contractor shall provide support for the development, revision and maintenance of ILS documentation for submarine and surface craft hull mechanical, electrical and electronic systems, to ensure that accurate and adequate logistic information is delivered in a timely manner and at lowest life cycle cost. 532,500 hours of effort are anticipated over a sixty month period. A cost plus fixed fee indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract is anticipated. Offerors will be required to submit technical and cost proposals. Offers will be evaluated and award will be made on a best value basis. Solicitation will be avail abel approximately 1 April 2003. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business.
