Description

NA The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District, is seeking Contractors on the U.S. East Coast (Atlantic Intercoastal Waterway) with ISO 9001 or ISO 9002 certification, willing to perform repairs and maintenance on Corps of Engineers Vessel?s. Our ne xt solicitation is for the Dredge FRY. The vessel will be available on or about July 15, 2003. ISO 9001 = Drydocking, Repair and Conversion of Marine Vessels. ISO 9002 = Shipbuilding and Ship Construction Services. The maintenance and/or repairs to Corps of Engineers Vessels is by construction solicitations and contracts. These contracts require bid, payment and performance bonds. The Sidecasting Dredge Fry has the following Characteristics and Specifications: Gross Tonnage 202 tons; Displacement 354 long tons; Length, Overall 104 ft ? 2 in; Beam, Molded 30 ft ? 0 in; Breath, with drags 40 ft ? 10 in; Depth, Molded 7 ft ? 9 in; Draft 4 ft ? 8 in; Draft, Loaded 5 ft ? 11 in; Draghead & Hoppers 2 Brunswick Adjustable; Drags 10 in Dia.;and Discharge Pipe 12 in, 80 ft in length.
