- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepare= d in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Request for Quotations (RFQ) are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation documents incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-12. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business. The NAICS IS 421450 with business size standard 500 employees. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated. The South Texas Veterans Health Care System, Audie L. Murphy Division, 7400 Merton Minter Blvd, San Antonio, TX 78229 has a requirement to purchase nine (9) each, Secure II Medical/Surgical beds, part number 3002EX, and accessories. The specifications are Maximum Weight Capacity is 500 pounds. Overall Bed Length/Width-Standard Bed is 93=94x42.5=94(side rails up) and 36=94(side rails down) Patient Sleep Surfa= ce for Standard Bed is 84=94x35=94, Bed Height to Top of Seat Litter =966=94Casters is 16=94(Low) x29.5=94(high), Knee Gatch Angle 0=B0 to 40=B0= , Fowler Angle 0=B0 to 60=B0, Trendelenburg/Reverse Trendelenburg -12 =B0 to +12=B0= , Weight System Accuracy =B1 1% of total patient weight with the litter level. All electrical requirements must meet UL specifications 115 VAC, 60hz, 7.0Amp. ASSOCIATED ACCESSORIES ARE: nine (9) each Zone Control For Chaperone, part number 3002-999-243, nine (9) each Pendant w/Motion and Comm, part number 3001-315-012, nine (9) each 110-Volt Outlet (12amp), part number 3002-320-050, twelve (12) each Adapter Bracket For Patient Helper, part number 3001-333-000, nine (9) each Permanent Folding IV (Head End), part number 2035-112-000, nine (9) each Pump Holder (Foot End Mount), part number 2040-111-000 and twelve (12) each Custom Patient Helper for 3002EX, part number CMSPATHELP. Two copies of all Manuals & Literature are required for each bed purchased.=20 Quotations shall include all warranty information, technical data, etc. Quotations shall be submitted F.O.B. destination.
