Description

NA The US Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District, intends to award a contract to perform repainting of the Unit 9 Turbine of the Dalles Lock and Dam at the Dalles, Oregon. This contract requires removal of existing paint from wetted surfaces by sandblasti ng, grind-putting smooth, sandblasting the ground surfaces, and coating with a specific vinyl coating system. This procurement is open to both small and large business concerns. All interested responsible firms are invited to request a copy of the subject Invitation for Bids (IFB), in CD Rom format, at no charge, by registering on our website at https://www.nwp.army.mil. The IFB is anticipated to be issued on or about 25 March 2003 with a tentative bid opening date of 24 Apr, 2003. In addition, in order to do business with the Department of Defense, the contractor must enroll on the Central Contracting Register (CCR) www.ccr.gov.
