Description

NA Overhaul/Recapitalization/Conversion. The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, tools, special tooling, test equipment and materials/parts for overhaul/recapitalization/conversion of the T701C Turbine Engine. Input T700 Turbine Engi ne NSN: 2840-01-070-1003, Input P/N: 6035T00G01, and T701 Turbine Engine, Input NSN: 2840-01-114-2211, Input P/N: 6044T06G01, the Output T701C Turbine Engine NSN: 2840-01-284-4011, and Output P/N: 6071T24G01 in support of the UH-60 and AH-64 helicopters. T he Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, four year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with quantities as follows: Minimum quantity of 20 each and the maximum quantity of 110 each. The overhaul/recapitalization/conversio n will be accomplished in accordance with Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR)1-2840-248-1 and 1-2840-248-2, dated 15 May 1999, and with Changes 1, 2 & 3 dated January 2003, all applicable AMCOM Engineering Directives (AED), Modification Work Orders ( MWO) 1-2840-248-50-4, dated 15 December 2002 and 1-2840-248-50-5, dated 31 December 2001. The government required delivery schedule is as follows: Output of assets shall be 180 days after receipt of assets at a rate of 5 per month. The government will pr ovide GFE in support of this contract limited to the following: One (1) correlated T701C Engine, NSN: 2840-01-284-4011, P/N: 6071T24G01, Two (2) T701C Digital Electronic Control Units (DECU) NSN: 2995-01-396-1356, P/N: 4082T99G08, or NSN: 2995-01-482-9561, P/N: 4082T99G09; Two (2) T701C Fuel Controls NSN: 2915-01-332-2469, P/N: 4046T52G27 or NSN: 2915-01-314-8595, P/N: 5074T79G10. One (1) Front Frame Abrasive Flow Fixture, P/N T1835; One (1) Tie Rod Round Nut Stub Arbor, P/N LMT 7658-01; Government Furnishe d Engine Containers, NSN: 8145-01-302-1026, P/N: 15715 or P/N: 421E001. This is a full and open competitive requirement. Responsible businesses that can perform the above effort may submit an offer, which may be considered by the Agency. This requirement is currently unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation, however, solicitation will not close prior to the c losing date stated above.
