- This modification 1 to synopsis entitled INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION CARGO MISSION CONTRACT is being issued to clarify the size standard associated with NAICS Code 541710 and provide industry access to the DRAFT Request For Proposal (RFP). The initial synopsis which was posted on December 17, 2002, stated that the size standard for NAICS Code 541710 was 1,500 employees. The size standard for this NAICS Code has been changed to 1,000 employees. A copy of the DRAFT RFP can be found at the ISS Contract Strategy homepage at url: http://jsc-web-pub.jsc.nasa.gov/bd01/excellent-strategy/ Please be advised that the DRAFT RFP is not a solicitation and NASA is not requesting proposals at this time. In accordance with NFS 1815.201, potential offerors are invited to comment on all aspects of the draft solicitation, including the requirements, schedules, proposal instructions, and evaluation approaches. Potential offerors are requested to: - Identify unnecessary or inefficient requirements. - Identify voluntary consensus standards that meet the Government's requirements as alternatives to Government-unique standards cited as requirements, in accordance with FAR 11.101 and OMB Circular A-119. - Identify perceived safety, occupational health, security (including information technology security), environmental, export control, and/or other programmatic risk issues associated with performance of the work. Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation and any amendments. Potential oferors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any).
