Description
The purpose of this modification is to incorporate the full text of the combined synopis solication. Synopsis/Solicitaion is as follows: This is a combined synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation under solicitation number M6700103Q0007. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-12. The NAICS code for this procurement is 336612. This solicitation is unrestricted, and the government intends to make only 1 award. The purpose of this solicitation is for the purchase of 1, 27?Vigilant B ase boat with the following specifications: CLIN 0001 - 27? Vigilant Base Boat to include: Unsinkable hull with commercial grade fiberglass laminate, self bailing hull with scuppers, haze grey gel coat, heavy duty rub rail, cabin accent stripe, pilot house with locking lower cuddy, pilot house, cabin roof and pilot rails, windshield wipers and fans, fixed forward and sliding side windows, vented forward windows and sliding side windows, (2) cuddy air vents on bustle, rear drop curtain with zippered door, pilot seat with storage, padded stainless steel steering wheel, hydraulic dual ram steering, trim tabs-hydraulic, lockable quarter compartments, powder coated bow and stern rails, outer cabin and interior pilot house grab rails, stern quarter-cabin side and pilot rails, bow eye-lifting eye, stern eyes, (8) 12? cleats, Navigation lights, (2) fire extinguishers, folding light ma st, electronics distribution panel, overhead electronics pod, cuddy lights-red pilot house dome light, (2) Cuddy Port lights, (2) Bilge pumps with automatic float switches, 14 function switch panel, 171 gallon baffled aluminum fuel tank, 30? transom upgrade, transom chafe cap, stern splash well bulkhead, twin cylinder steering upgrade, windshield wipers w/ washer (2), ventilation fans (pr), 10 year transferable limited hull warranty. Offerers may quote on products that are brand name or equal. FOB site: Destination. Any offers other than FOB destination will be rejected. The following provision/clauses and addenda apply to this procurement- FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; addenda to FAR 52.212-1 Period for acceptance of offers. The government requires a minimum acceptance period of 120 calendar days. FAR 52-212.2 Evaluation-Commercial items. Proposals will be evaluated based on the offeror?s technical ability to meet the government?s needs, past performance, and price, in that order. The contractor shall submit two references for past performance, to include company name, contract number, phone number, point of contact, and any other relevant information . FAR 52-212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. The contractor shall submit a completed copy of Representations and Certifications, contained in FAR 52-212-3, with their proposal. Offers that fail to furnish required representations or information, or reject the terms and conditions of this solicitation, may be excluded from consideration. FAR 52-212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, FAR 52-212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders. DFARS 252.212-7001 Contract terms and conditions required to implement statutes or Executive Orders applicable to Defense acquisitions of commercial items. The contractor shall provide warranties for all parts in accordance with the contractor?s standard commercial practices. The government requires delivery of items no later than 60 days from the date of contract award. Items shall be delivered to Fire Headquarters, Bldg 18, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Prior to delivery and acceptance by the government, the contractor shall perform a final pre-delivery inspection and service, which will be in accordance with the manufacturer?s specification.
