Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to negotiate and award a sole source firm fixed price requirements contract for solid waste collection and disposal services for the Federal Correctional Institution located within the city limits of Dublin, California. The Government intends to make this sole source award to Waste Management of Alameda County, 6175 South Front Road, Livermore, California 94568. Waste Management of Alameda County is the exclusive franchisee as granted by The City of Dublin, California and as amended in Resolution No. 173-02, by the City Council of the City of Dublin. The contract period shall consist of a base year period not to exceed 12 months and four12 month option periods for renewal. The contract will include the following services: 1) Rental of one thirty yard compactor; 2) Pick up and empty one 30 yard dumpster two times per week on Monday and Thursday (104 pulls per year); 3) Pick up and empty three(3) seven cubic yard dumpsters three times per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (156 pulls per year); 4) Pick up and empty thirty (30) 96 gallon containers once per week; and 5) Pick up and empty one (1) thirty yard container two times per week (104 pulls per year). The anticipated date of award for this contract is July 1, 2003.
