- Description
- The Billings Area Indian Health Service intends to negotiate and award a non-competitive contract to DADE Behring, Incorporated, pursuant to the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Commercial Items (Title VIII of the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act of 1994 (Public Law 103-355)) and FAR 6.302.1. The proposed contract action is for the provision of Preventive Maintenance and Repair Services on the DADE automated chemistry analyzers at the PHS Indian Health Service facilities within the Billings Area. DADE is the manufacturer of the automated chemistry analyzers and prohibits anyone other than their manufacturer trained service representatives from providing these preventive maintenance and repair services. The period of performance shall be for one year. The tentative issue date of the solicitation is February 26, 2003. The offer shall be submitted to the Billings Area Indian Health Service, 2900 Fourth Avenue North, Room 304, Billings, Montana 59101, no later than 2:00 p.m., on March 17, 2003. The offer must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to this office, showing the time specified for receipt, the solicitation number, company name and address. The offer will also be accepted by e-mail at RLangager@mail.ihs.gov or by fax at (406) 247-7108.
