Description

The Albuquerque area Indian Health Service will be soliciting for Inpatient/Outpatient Hospital Care Services from interested hospitals, physicians and other professional health care provider groups. Medical services will be provided to the Indian Health Service (IHS) beneficiaries who are Contract Health Service (CHS) eligible and referred through the IHS health care system. Contract Hospital facilities shall provide medically necessary hospital inpatient room & board, ancillary services, i.e., laboratory, radiology, as well as outpatient and emergency room services. The hospital facilities must be accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Organizations (JCAHO) or other equivalent accreditation, state licensed and registered to operate as a hospital facility and maintain liability coverage. Proposed rates should be at the allowable prevailing Medicare Rates for hospital services. The Government anticipates in awarding multiple year contracts for a base year, with four, one-year options for renewals.
