Description

The Billings Area Indian Health Service is seeking potential contractors to provide construction services for the exterior renovation of the Lodge Grass Health Center at the Crow Service Unit in Lodge Grass, Montana. This procurement is enacted in accordance with FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition, FAR Part 14 Sealed Bidding and FAR Part 36 Construction. The IHS intends on awarding a firm-fixed price construction contract to a responsible/responsive contractor whose proposal is most advantageous to the Government. This procurement is set-aside to 51% Native American owned business concerns in accordance with 25 USC 47, the Buy-Indian Act and IHS Acquisition Regulation, Paragraph 370.503(E). Not more than 50% percent of the work to be performed under a prime contract award shall be subcontracted to Non-Indian firms. All interested business concerns are encouraged to submit a proposal. It is the contractors responsibility to be familiar with the contents, conditions and site investigation contained in this proposal package. PAYMENT BONDING IS REQUIRED. NAICS Code is 2362 Nonresidential Building Construction. Business standard size is $28,500,000 million. The estimated range of this procurement is between $25,000 to $100,000. FAXED PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!! Solicitation packages will be mailed out on February 28, 2003.
