Description

The Billings Area Indian Health Service is seeking potential contractors to provide construction services for the removal, replacement and installation of flooring in six (6) Government quarters (74, 77, 78, 79, 81, 82) at the Fort Washakie IHS in Fort Washakie, Wyoming. This procurement is enacted in accordance with FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition, FAR Part 14 Sealed Bidding and FAR Part 36 Construction. The IHS intends on awarding a firm-fixed price construction contract to a responsible/responsive contractor whose proposal is most advantageous to the Government. This procurement is set-aside to 51% Native American owned business concerns in accordance with 25 USC 47, the Buy-Indian Act and IHS Acquisition Regulation, Paragraph 370.503(e). Not more than 50% percent of the work to performed under a prime contract award shall be subcontracted out to Non-Indian firms. All interested business concerns are encouraged to submit a proposal. It is the contractors responsibility to be familiar with the contents, conditions and site investigation contained in this proposal package. PAYMENT BONDING IS REQUIRED. The NAICS Code is 236118, Residential Remodelers. Business size standard is $28,500,000. The estimated range of this procurement is between $25,000 and $100,000. FAXED PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!! Solicitation packages will be mailed out on February 28, 2003.
