- 17. The Bureau Of Engraving And Printing (BEP) Intends To Issue A Combined Synopsis/Solicitation To Provide Environmental, Safety And Occupational Health (ESOH) Services To The Office Of Environment, Safety And Occupational Health (OESOH). These Services Shall Include But Are Not Limited To Safety Inspections, Safety Training, Injury Reporting And Investigation, Spill Response, Safety Equipment Testing, And Documentation Management. The ESOH Section, As A Component Of The BEP, Is Located In Washington, D.C. The Primary Responsibility For The ESOH Section Is To Provide The BEP With A Comprehensive ESOH Program That Will Maintain And Enhance Health, Improve Safety, Mitigate Risks To The BEP Employees, While Improving Employee Morale And Productivity And To Protect The Environment From Pollution. Work Is To Be Performed At The BEP?s Washington, D.C. Facility, Hereinafter Referred To As The BEP, Bureau Or Government. This Solicitation Is 100% Set Aside For Small Businesses Within The Washington, D.C. Metro Area (0353). The Solicitation Will Be Issued Electronically On The Federal Business Opportunities Website At WWW.EPS.GOV. Interested Sources May Download The Solicitation From The Website Above. The Associated NAICS Code Is 541620, 8748 (SIC) and Small Business Size Standard Is $6.0 Million Dollars. The BEP Anticipates A Firm Fixed-Priced Type Contract With A Base Year And Four Option Years. The Solicitation Telephone Requests Will Not Be Honored. All Responsible Sources May Submit An Offer Upon Receipt Of The Solicitation, Which, Shall Be Considered By The Agency. The Contract Specialist Must Receive Any Questions No Later Than 10 Calendar Days Before The Closing Date Of This Solicitation. An Original And 3 Copies Of The Offeror's Proposal Shall Be Received On Or Before 2:00 P.M. Local Time, 28 February 2003 At The Bureau Of Engraving And Printing, Attn: Office Of Procurement - Jill M. Kline, Room 705A, 14th & C Streets, S.W., Washington, D.C. 20228. The Package Should Be Marked With The Solicitation Number, Due Date And Time. The U.S. Postal Service Continues To Irradiate Letters, Flats, Express And Priority Mail With Stamps For Postage And Other Packages With Stamps For Postage Destined To Government Agencies In The Zip Code Ranges 202 Through 205. Due To Potential Delays In Receiving Mail, Offerors Are Encouraged To Use Alternatives To The Mail When Submitting Proposals.
