Description
NA The Huntington District Corps of Engineers intends to procure a contract for Floating Plant Drilling Services. The contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, supplies, and materials to determine the type, nature, characteristics, and present extent and condition of various materials located in the Huntington District; to include much of the State of West Virginia, about one half the State of Ohio and smaller portions of Kentucky, Virginia and North Carolina. The Huntington District is now a part of the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division (CELRD). The contract will be a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery type contract, competitively negotiated NTE $1,000,000. The contract will be awarded for a base year with two option years. The contract is anti cipated to be awarded in May 2003. (NAICS) code is 541330, which has a size standard of $4,000,000 in average annual receipts. The award will be made as a whole to the offeror whose proposal conforms to the solicitation and has been determined to be the most advantageous to the Government, all factors considered. The technical portion of each proposal will be evaluated using the following RATING CRITERIA (listed in descending order of importance): 1. Past Performance; 2. Technical Knowledge and Experie nce of Personnel; 3. Ability of Offeror to Provide Required Physical Plant and Supplies; 4. Supervision and Administration; 5. Safety; 6. Quality Control; 7. Location of the firm in the General Geographic Area and 8. Cost. Solicitation packages will be available on or about March 03, 2003. This requirement is being solicited on an unrestricted basis.
