- Description
- Maintenance and Logistic Command, Pacific proposes to contract the dry docking and repairs of the USCGC SOCKEYE (WPB 87337) 87 ft, patrol boat, home moorage in Bodego Bay, CA. All work will be performed at the Contractor?s facility beginning the period of 25 June 2003 and ending 05 August 2003. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued 15 days after the posted date of this notice. Potential offerors are advised that the solicitation, specifications and other notifications can be accessed on the web at www.eps.gov. The work items included but no limited to appendages (underwater) leak test, appendages (underwater) preserve, internal, hull plating underwater body inspection, propulsion shaft seals mechanical overhaul & inflatable renewal, propulsion shaft stern tube coating, propulsion shaft stern tube coating, propulsion shaft external bearings renew & check clearances, propeller clean/inspect, decks (slip resistant sheet) preserve, pressure gauges and thermometers (critical) calibration, rudders exterior preserve, deck coverings (interior wet) repair/reseal, skeg structural modifications, electric meter calibration, sea valve (<=2.5 inches) renewal, sea valve (>2.5 inches) overhaul and temporary services, dry dock provide. The solicitation is issued in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. All responsive sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by this agency. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE). The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
