- Description
- A system problem prevented access to the Attachment AFS Cert Schedule. Therefore this attachment has been replaced with an accessible file. The Airmen Certificate Schedule (revised) can be accessed by the new attachment AFSCertSched02r.pdf. or you may access through the following URL: http://www.asu.faa.gov/faaco/attachments/AFS%20CertSched02%2Epdf. All other SIR contents/attachments for this announcement remain unchanged. This Screening Information Request (SIR), identified as SIR DTFA02-03-R-AFS312, is issued to obtain qualified sources to accomplish printing, distribution, and coordination of Airmen Certificates. This is a competitive requirement set-aside for Small Businesses. The FAA schedule is critical, and sensitive information must be protected in the acquisition process. Therefore the acquisition will be conducted in a two-phase downselect process. The NAIC code is 32311 Printing and related Support Activities with a size business code of 500. Interested sources must retrieve the Qualification SIR from the internet and submit responses as requested for Phase I downselect. If downloading is not possible, you may request the SIR in writing (e-mail Avis.Franklin@faa.gov). All sources must complete SIR requirements and submit the response by the due date 19 Feb 2003. NOTICE FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY: The Department of Transportation (DOT) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individual, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. For futher information and applicable forms concerning the STLP, call the OSDBU at (800) 532-1169
