- The final RFP (100% Small Business Set-Aside) for the cost comparison study for the most efficient and cost effective method of providing distribution services in the management and operation of the Defense Distribution Depot, Puget Sound, Washington, (DDPW), Solicitation SP0700-03-R-7013 will be issued February 14, 2003 over the Internet at the following address: http://www.supply.dla.mil/a76. The resultant contract awarded, if any, will be awarded on an all or none basis as a Fixed Price (IDIQ) Contract with Cost Reimbursement Provisions. The contract performance period will be a three-year base period with the potential of an additional two-year option period. (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 493110. The small business size standard is $21.5 million [average annual receipts as averaged over a firm's latest three completed fiscal years]. This solicitation will not result in a contract if Government performance is determined to be more advantageous in accordance with OMB Circular A-76 procedures. Hard copies of the RFP will not be available. The RFP closing date is 06/11/03. The Site Visit/Pre-proposal Conference is schedule for Sunday, March 2, 2003 at 8:00 a.m. with registration beginning at 7:15 a.m. for the site visit. The conference will commence in the afternoon starting at 1:00 p.m. The purpose of the site visit is to afford potential offerors the opportunity to view the facilities and operations that are stated in the solicitation. The purpose of the conference is to do an in-depth review of the solicitation. In order to promote an informative and successful site visit, only those having confirmed reservations before Monday, February 24, 2003 by 1:00 p.m. EST will be allowed access to the site. Due to the state of heightened security, if you are not registered with this office by that date and time, you will not be permitted to attend. NO EXCEPTIONS. Please Note before registering: You must be a U.S. Citizen. Please include attendee name(s), company name, address, telephone number and Social Security number (if you do not feel comfortable emailing your SS #, you may call (614) 692-2910 or (614) 692-2258 and give the number to Kathy Manley). Confirmation will be by return E-mail. Please note that only two attendees from each company will be allowed to attend each separate event. Due to the heightened state of security, if you are registered and unable to attend and wish to substitute another associate, you must notify this office prior to February 24, 2003 by 1:00 p.m. EST with that change or they will not be able to enter the Center.
