Description: The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Northrop Grumman Corporation, Bethpage, NY 11714, for flight testing and aircraft integration support for the NP2000 propeller. Northrop Grumman is the designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of the E-2 and is, therefore, the only source that possesses the resources and indepth technical knowledge and technical data necessary to provide these services within the time required to meet USN requirements.
