Description

NA The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District intends to issue an expedited solicitation to Seal Leakage between Monoliths at Big Bend Powerplant, South Dakota, under the authorities of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subparts 6.302-1, 6.302-2, and 10 USC 2304?(1). Work involves the installation of five new remedial waterstops between monolith joints (Monoliths 3/4, downstream; 5/6, downstream; 6/7, downstream; 1/2, downstream and 4/5, downstream). The remedial waterstop repair system that is requ ired for this contract is contained under United States Patent No. 4626133, ?Waterstop for Monolith Joints?. Only those firms that are licensed to perform this patented system will receive the solicitation and be considered for award. Evidence of patent license must be submitted if responding to this announcement. In addition, parties must submit the name and location of operation dam projects where the patented system was successfully installed, along with contact(s) who can verify the project(s) listed .
