Description

This synopsis is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) for Professional Engineering and Geo-spatial Services in support of Operational and Environmental Management for the Naval Air Station (NAS), Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) and Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) located at Patuxent River, MD. In accordance with FAR 8.001, responses are requested only from GSA Schedule holders under SIN 871-3. All requests received from vendors without GSA Schedules will not be considered. The Naval Air Station (NAS) Patuxent River provides support for Operational Environmental Planning Safety, and Occupational Health (ESOH) planning and compliance. The Geo-spatial integration team provides all the Geo-spatial support required to support both the Real Property and the Operational areas that support the NAVAIR, NAWCAD, and NAS missions. This support focuses on the review, assessment, and documentation for Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E); training exercises; and operational activities at the Patuxent River Complex (PRC) and Atlantic Warning Areas, as well as other geographical locations. The period of performance shall be 1 year commencing 1 March 2003. Contract place of performance is Patuxent River, MD. A copy of the Statement of Work as well as quotation instructions is available by emailing holmesl@navair.navy.mil. Please include point of contact, email address, fax number, and GSA Schedule Number with email request. Requests a copy of the SOW and quotation instruction must be made by 2:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, February 12, 2003. All responsible GSA Schedule holders under SIN 871-3 may submit a quotation that shall be considered by the agency.
