Description

0100 SERVICES NON-PERSONAL: The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, parts, materials, equipment, transportation and incidentals necessary to travel to Tinker AFB OK to perform Preventive (PM) and Remedial Maintenance (RM) services on Hardness and Tensile Testers in accordance with manufacturer?s specifications and the Statement of Work. Equipment List: Wilson Hardness; Model #4-OUR a RB, Qty 1 Ea. Buehler Hardness Tester; Model #Macromet3, Qty 1 Ea. New Age; Model #N1300-SRD Indentron; Qty 1 Ea. Ames Hardness Tester; Model #Portable 2; Qty 1 Ea. Newage Portable Hardness Tester; Model #MRDR; Qty 1 Ea. Qualitest; Model #TH-130; Qty 1 Ea. Notice of Intent. CBD Note 22. To comply with FAR 5.101(a)(2). The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Instron Corporation (intended source), under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals. However, all quotes/proposals received by 1500 on 20 Feb 03 CT will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
