Description
This project consists of performing cadastral surveys on the Francis Marion & Sumter National Forests (FM&S NFs) located in South Carolina. The FM&S NFs have been divided into three zones and one or more Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantities Task Order contracts will be awarded for cadastral survey services to be performed as required. The resulting contractor(s) will have a base year and two option years. Work to be performed includes the following: corner search, corner maintenance, corner monumentation, control traverse, property line marked, property line maintenance, and plat of survey. The three zones are as follows: Zone 1 - Francis Marion NF (coastal SC) near Charleston, SC; Zone 2 - Enoree and Long Cane Ranger Districts, Sumter NF (piedmont SC) near Newberry and Edgefield, SC; and Zone 3 - Andrew Pickens Ranger District (mountainous SC) near Walhalla, SC. The following evaluation factors will be considered: 1. Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of the required services; 2. Specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required; 3. Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time; 4. Past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with performance schedules; 5. Location in the general geographical area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project; provided that application of this criteria leaves an appropriate number of qualified firms, given the nature and size of the project.
