1 ORDER FOR 400 CARTRIDGES OF PRC-DeSoto International Inc. part number PR-1829 B-2 GOING TO NEW JERSEY 8030-01-369-0047 UI: CA SEALING COMPOUND, POLYTHIOETHER: DESCRIPTION A two-part, polythioether windshield sealant compound for use on glass, polycarbonate, acrylic, and other aircraft substrates. Class B-2: suitable for application by extrusion gun or spatula; 2 hour work life. Size: 2 fl oz in a 2.5 fl oz cartridge. Shelf life code: 2 (6 months) Maximum age on delivery: 1 month PRC-DeSoto International Inc. part number PR-1829 B-2. ITEM MARKING Each item shall be marked with the following: (1) lot or batch number (2) shelf life data including dates of manufacture or shipment from manufacturer's warehouse, and reinspection or expiration, as appropriate. (3) manufacturer's name and part number (4) instructions for use, thinning, mixing, shaking, etc. (5) instructions for storage, i.e. do not freeze, requires refrigeration, etc. PACKAGING PACKAGING: The product shall be furnished in cartridges conforming to Military Specification MIL-S-38714B, Sealant Cartridge for Two Component Materials, dated May 15, 1987. There shall be no interaction chemically or physically with the contents which would damage the container or alter the strength, quality, or purity of the contents. Each filled cartridge shall be sealed in an appropriate type bag/envelope. The cartridges shall be closed in a manner that insures the contents shall not spill or leak during shipment, handling, storage, and redistribution. PACKING PACKING: Twenty-four (24) injection cartridges packaged as described above shall be further packed in a close-fitting, corrugated fiberboard box conforming to Section 6(a), Rule 41 of the Uniform Freight Classification and Item 222 of the National Motor Freight Classification (200 minimum burst). Closure of the boxes shall be in accordance with Section 7 of Rule 41 of the Uniform Freight Classification. Gross weight of the box and contents shall not exceed 65 pounds. MARKING All unit, intermediate, transport packages and unit loads shall be marked for delivery to military activities in accordance with MIL-STD-129N, dated 15, May, 1997.
