- NA The U. S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) is planning a HubZone competitive set-aside for the Security Services for the National Missile Defense(NMD) Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Joint Project Office(JPO). The principal objective o f this acquisition is access control services for GMD. The overall planned period of performance is 48 months (consisting of a three year basic with a one year option). The government contemplates award of a Firm-Fixed-Price, Level of Effort contract. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 561612 with a small business size standard of $10.5M. A SECRET facility clearance will be required for this effort. This acquisition is not open to foreign participation. The estimated solicitation issue date is on or about 18 Feb 2003 with a forty-five (45) day response time. When issued, the solicitation will be available on the USASMDC home Page at the following website: http://www.smdc.army.mil/Contracts/Contracts.htm. (Select Commerce Business Daily; Reques t for Proposal.)
