- NA The NETCOM/9th Army Signal Command has a requirement for nonpersonal services for local telephone exchange services for Fort Carson, Colorado. The proposed contract is for a base year with four one-year options. The local exchange services provider, cert ified by the state of Colorado, shall provide local commercial communications service for Fort Carson, CO which shall include, as a minimum but not limited to, local access for commercial subscriber lines, digital access trunks, local exchange digital (ISD N PRI) trunks, transport channels, and directory number and number portability. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered. Sources responding to this requirement must indicate in writing, whether they are a large, small, disadv antaged and /or women-owned business. For this acquisition, a concern will be considered small under SIC code 4813 with size standard of 1500 employees ? NAICS 517110. This requirement shall be a commercial, fixed price type contract. Solicitation is a nticipated to be released on or about 30 Jan 03. The solicitation can be viewed and downloaded from the Interagency Business Opportunity Page. The Government will conduct a preproposal conference and site visit on 19 Feb 03 at 6151 Specker Ave, Bldg 1550, Fort Carson, CO. The conference will be from 9:00-10:30am (approximately) and will be followed by a site visit from 10:30 am ? 12:00 pm. Offerors planning to attend are required to notify the specialist listed below, in writing, of all attendees? names (not to exceed three per company) prior to 13 Feb 03. An e-mail response to the specialist listed below is acceptable. Questions received prior to the conference must be received before 13 Feb 03. Questi ons generated as a result of the preproposal conference must be received before 27 Feb 03. Written responses to offeror-generated questions will be provided to all Offerors.
