- Description
- Air Mobility Command is interested in purchasing air ambulance services by contract for the CONUS, near-offshore locations, and South America areas. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to determine the amount of competitive sources interested in performing the requirement and normal commercial practices when purchasing air ambulance services by contract. Interested carriers must be accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS) and have the ability to respond anywhere within the CONUS, near-offshore locations and South America within two hours of confirmed notification of transport. The following additional information is required: a. Estimated Cost (Per GCSM), b. Estimated Cost (Medical Personnel, per hour), and c. Current Medical Malpractice Insurance Limits (per occurrence and aggregate. Performance will be for one (1) year. This agency has not made a final commitment to procure the stated requirement and the synopsis of this RFI should not be construed as a commitment or authorization to incur costs in anticipation of such procurement. This agency is interested in obtaining responses to this RFI from prospective contractors but no contractor shall be reimbursed for providing this information; therefore, the Air Force will accept the requested information in whatever format is provided. All information provided by the contractor will become property of the Air force and will not be returned. Responses are required within 7 days of this notice, and should also include a point of contact, phone number, fax number, and e-mail address.
